A Weathersome Week

What a week for weather!

Only a week ago it was snowing, and since then we've enjoyed the 80 degree weather by throwing a backyard shower, taking a trip to the lake, and making two visits to the zoo!

Daniel enjoyed his first carousel ride OK, can we just observe that Daniel is nearly half my height and only like 1% of my age? That's incredible really. They just grow too fast, I tell you what! We LOVE Pygmy goats! This one's name is Rosie. They're so cute. We really want some for our house. Don't you think they would love the hill in the backyard? Maybe we should have a poll about pygmy goats and their many many attributes... We have a little tradition, Daniel picks out an animal from the zoo store and then we try to find it in the zoo. This trip he picked two, a toucan and a panda. Sometimes this proves to be an impossible undertaking seeing that our zoo doesn't seem to have as many animals as it once did, but we were able to locate several toucans, however the only pandas were red pandas, and they don't really look like Daniel's bear but that's ok.
